A uniquely textured broad sandcast ring.
A simple broad (approx 7mm wide) sandcast band, perfect as a wedding ring. Each ring is unique and cast using sand I have collected, mainly from Cornwall.
The sand imparts a beautiful tactile texture to the surface. This will be long lasting in gold, but will gradually smooth off in silver due to the different metal properties.
The ring is cast using the Delft Clay technique meaning every ring is different as the mould can only be used once
After the ring has been cast I clean it up by hand and finish it either with a satin or polished surface (I would recommend satin)

Order Lead Time
As each ring is handmade, and sent to the Edinburgh Assay Office for hallmarking the lead time on these rings is approx 4-6 weeks.
