One of a kind gold and sandcast silver statement ring set with a London Blue topaz

£800.00

A simple narrow ring combining forged 9ct gold and narrow sandcast sterling silver shank. The sandcast half of the shank merges into the gold half of the shank, this then entwines to form the base of the setting. The under bezel is a “circles within a circle” design, reflecting Anglo Saxon designs.

At the centre of the under bezel is the claw set 0.6ct London Blue topaz surrounded by 9ct gold granules to emphasise the stone.

Each ring is unique and made through casting (using sand I have collected, mainly from Cornwall) and hand forging from casting grain.

the cast elements are cast using the Delft Clay technique meaning every ring is different as the mould can only be used once.

after the ring has been completed I clean it up by hand and finish it with a satin or polished surface, depending on the texture.

the ring is size M
