A simple 9ct gold and sterling silver ring mixing sandcast silver with hand forged gold
A narrow band combining hand forged 9ct gold and narrow sandcast silver halves into a unique band. Each ring is unique and made through casting (using sand I have collected, mainly from Cornwall) and hand forging from casting grain, then fusing the two elements together.
The resultant ring is both luxurious with the gold half and organic and textured with the sandcast half.
The cast elements are cast using the Delft Clay technique meaning every ring is different as the mould can only be used once.
After the ring has been completed I clean it up by hand and finish it with a satin or polished surface, depending on the texture

Order Lead Time
As each ring is handmade, and sent to the Edinburgh Assay Office for hallmarking the lead time on these rings is approx 4-6 weeks.
