BOMBÉ PENDANT 3 - A sterling silver bombé inspired pendant, sandcast and set with sapphires and moissanites
Part of the Bombé collection.
A sterling silver sandcast pendant with contrasting rough sand textures juxtaposed with a polished surface.
The surface of the pendant features two areas of rough sand texture (using two different sands), set with cast-in-place stones and a contrasting polished section flush set.
Supplied with a 18” 5.1 mm Belcher Sterling Silver chain and handmade 9ct gold bails and S-clasp.
The pendant is cast using sand from two beaches, one from the south of Cornwall, Kennack Sands and one from the north, Chapel Porth. These give contrasting textures. Cast using the Delft Clay technique (every cast is different as the mould can only be used once), cleaned by hand, and polished.
The pendant is set with 5 Australian parti sapphires and 5 Sri Lankan sapphires, cast-in-place and given some additional security with star setting. The central band is flushset with 8 moissanites.
