ATOMIUM PENDANT 2 - Stunning 9ct gold sandcast double hoop pendant with tube set sapphires and a diamond

An beautiful 9ct gold sandcast pendant, set with sapphires and a diamond, completed with a fine silver belcher chain and handmade 9ct gold S-clasp.
This pendant features a two joined hoops, one 19mm and one 25mm in diameter, sandcast in 9ct SMO gold, using sand from Kennack Sands in Cornwall. The contrasting fine tube settings and the support structure reflect the ATOMIUM in Belgium. Each tube is set with a different stone, the two outer stones are Australian parti sapphires and central stone a GH SI 2.5mm Ocean Diamonds.
The sand used to cast this pendant comes from Kennack Sands, on the very tip of the Lizard in Cornwall. The sand is relatively unique as it is full of serpentine, an uncommon metamorphic rock. Every sandcast element is different as the mould can only be used once, after casting they are cleaned by hand, polished and set.
