ATOMIUM PENDANT 1 - Stunning 9ct gold sandcast hoop pendant with tube set spinel and sapphires

An eye-catching 9ct gold sandcast pendant, set with spinel and sapphires, completed with a silver belcher chain and handmade 9ct gold S-clasp.
This pendant features a 24mm hoop sandcast in 9ct SMO gold, using sand from Chapel Porth in Cornwall. The contrasting fine tube settings and the support structure reflect the ATOMIUM in Belgium. Each tube is set with a different stone, the three blue/green stones are Australian parti sapphires and the others are purple/blue spinels.
The casting uses sand from Chapel Porth, a famous surfing beach on the North coast of Cornwall, which gives it a deep texture. Every sandcast element is different as the mould can only be used once, after casting they are cleaned by hand, polished and set.
