The Artistry of the Forge

I am a British fine jewellery designer specialising in bespoke commissions and one-of-a-kind pieces, handcrafted in primarily in gold using traditional techniques and ethically sourced materials.

Every piece is personally designed and made by me, working closely with clients who are looking for something individual, considered and enduring. This is jewellery that is made to be worn, lived with, and passed on.

My work is grounded in craftsmanship, simplicity and longevity, rather than trends, with each commission treated as a thoughtful collaboration.

A considered approach to bespoke jewellery

Clients often come to me at personal, meaningful moments, a life milestone, a key relationship moment, or to rework inherited jewellery into something new, more aligned with them, wearable and personal.

My role is to guide you calmly through the process, translating and forging ideas and emotions into a finished piece that feels right for you. I work one-to-one, taking time to understand what you value, how you live, and how the jewellery will be worn.

The experience is deliberately unhurried and personal, with clear communication at every stage.

Why commission a piece from me

Your piece is designed and made entirely by me, from first conversation to final finish.

I use time-honoured techniques alongside contemporary design, ensuring pieces are made to last.

The process is clearly explained, with guidance on materials, timelines and investment from the outset.

Ethical sourcing is core to my practice, I work with recycled precious metals, SMO gold and responsibly sourced gemstones wherever possible.

Training, experience and a considered path into jewellery

My journey to the goldsmith’s bench wasn't a traditional one. With a background in high-precision medical science (PhD) and a life shaped by the discipline of the military, I have spent my career understanding the weight of coordinates and the integrity of materials.

My work is defined by a process I call Sentimental Topography - a method of capturing the literal grain of a landscape within the structure of a modern monolith.

I am drawn to the Brutalist philosophy - the beauty of raw, honest materials and monolithic strength. But I balance that weight with the optimistic, geometric elegance of Art Deco.

When you commission a piece, you aren't just buying a ring. You are trusting a scientist to handle your memories at a molecular level and an artist to frame them in gold. I use ancient sand-casting rituals to capture the 'echo' of your favorite horizon, creating a personal landmark, a Sculpted Horizon that is uniquely, unrepeatably yours.

My clients often value the calm, organised nature of the design journey as much as the finished piece itself. It is a process rooted in clarity and mutual respect. My commitment to the craft has been recognized by the UK’s leading curated showcases. I have been invited to exhibit at Goldsmiths North and at Handmade Chelsea in London. This journey of refined discipline and artistic growth culminated in my Atomium collection being shortlisted for NAJ Collection of the Year 2025; a testament to the precision and soul infused into every piece I create.

Whether creating a new heirloom or a unique commission, I approach every grain of gold with the same level of care, focus, and responsibility.

Jewellery made to last beyond the moment

I truly believe fine jewellery should feel personal, comfortable and quietly confident

It should be something you reach for instinctively, rather than save for a special occasion.

Whether commissioning a new piece or reworking existing jewellery, my aim is always the same, to create something meaningful, beautifully made, and designed to stand the test of time.
