The BOMBÉ Collection

Why, of course you can!'“

The Bombé Ring - an iconic jewellery design

The collection reimagines it using the core design theme “curved and outward swollen” shape as a starting point.

A new collection marrying the classic design with contrasting angular shapes, juxtaposing textures such as fine finishes with rough beach sand cast surfaces.

Each piece within the collection has a highlighting feature; some embellished with KeumBoo applied gold, some with cast in place stones and others with channel, pavé, flush set iolites, sapphires and moissanites.

The Bombé Ring is named after a French pudding called a bombe glacée. The dictionary definition of the bombé shape is 'curving or swelling outward', and classic bombé rings have this aesthetic.

These rings were typically made with a thin shank and then a smooth and rounded top with intricate details and stone setting. They usually had a large and impressive gemstone or an elaborate cupola design.

Traditionally, bombé rings were worn on the second finger, but they have also become popular as engagement rings over the years.
