BOMBÉ PENDANT 2 - A sterling silver bombé inspired pendant, sandcast and finished with KeumBoo gold highlights

A sterling silver sandcast pendant with contrasting rough sand textures juxtaposed with a polished surface. The main surface on the base of the pendant is coated in 23.5ct gold using the KeumBoo technique (when hallmarked due to the amount of gold present it is hallmarked as 9ct), this permanently bonds the gold to the silver ring.
Supplied with a 18” 2.3mm Belcher Sterling Silver chain and handmade 9ct S-clasp.
They are cast using sand from Porthcurno beach, a fine sandy beach on the southcoast of Cornwall, which gives it a mixed texture because of the shell fragments and grains found in it. Cast using the Delft Clay technique (every cast is different as the mould can only be used once), cleaned by hand, and polished.
