A beautiful single stone ruby ring.
The design of the piece is inspired by an art deco ring in the V&A made by Harry Murphy.
The luxurious, deeply coloured octagonal 1.5ct Mozambique Ruby is flanked by white and yellow 14ct stepped shoulders. The shank being sandcast in 14ct in yellow gold using sand from Porthkidney (also known as Lelant beach) beach in Cornwall. It is a long golden beach on the North coast of Cornwall near St Ives. The fine sand gives a beautiful intricate texture.
