An eye-catching and elegant ring.
A striking 14ct shield design ring, featuring seven bar elements, reducing from the central element to the shank in line with the Golden Ratio. The central bar features nine pavé set Brazilian emeralds, the flanking bars being sandcast in sand from Porthkidney beach in Cornwall. The shank is forged in yellow gold and the bars in alternating white and yellow gold.
The design of the piece is inspired by the art deco jewellery of classic Cartier pieces..
The sandcast bars are cast in 14ct SMO gold, using sand from Porthkidney beach (also known as Lelant beach) in Cornwall, a long golden beach on the North coast of Cornwall near St Ives. The fine sand gives a beautiful intricate texture.
