BOMBÉ RING 2 - One of a kind, 9ct gold and sterling silver bombé ring, sandcast with pavé moissanites

£750.00

Part of the Bombé collection.

A unique ring, double sandcast in 9ct gold and sterling silver with contrasting rough sand textures juxtaposed with a polished surface. The ring is set with 13 2.5mm moissanites.

Perfect as a very eye-catching engagement ring (size L - can be made slightly bigger if needed), elegant with a wonderful mix of organic and refined elements

This ring is unique and cast using sand from Kennack Sands on the tip of the Lizard in Cornwall. The ring was cast using the Delft Clay technique (every ring cast is different as the mould can only be used once), in two stages. The Bombe section was cast first and then the gold shank was cast over the silver, after this ring it was cleaned by hand, polished and set.

The stones are pave set in three rows. I use moissanites as opposed to diamonds as they are less environmentally damaging as they are lab grown.

If you like this style of ring, but would prefer a different stones - diamonds, sapphires please email me (enquires@iainsainsbury.com) your requirements and we can discuss further.
